Event Details
Come play homespun video games involving unique controllers, including “First Day,” in which the player navigates a room full of office workers delivering as many memos as possible. The controller for the game is a manilla envelope.
Other games are collaborative. In “Linex” two people guide snakes around a screen, creating colorful geometric patterns in their wake. They end the game by having the snakes cross paths, at which point a color printer prints the image on the screen.
At least one game will employ an old office phone as the controller.
Don’t miss this lively, offbeat community event that harkens back to the days when the video arcade was the most lively place in town.
