Event Details
The Visiting Artist Lunch and Learn offers the opportunity to hear Philippe Manoury and Miller Puckette discuss their latest work and collaborations in electronic music, and then to observe Manoury lead a master class with three University of Colorado College of Music students. The event is part of the ATLAS Summer Experimental Music Week, featuring avant-garde, experimental electronic music by some of the most respected and adventurous pioneers of the field. Free and open to the public.

1:30 pm An overview of Manoury’s recent electronic works and his collaborations with Puckette, employing sound and multimedia programming language, Pure Data (Pd).
2:30 pm Master Class with Philippe Manoury—An open presentation and discussion of works in progress by three leading CU Boulder College of Music graduate students: Willie Payne, Hugh Lobel and Brian Kelly.
