Everyone has different perspectives, and photography can help us communicate our perspectives in poignant and effective ways. Join Jessica Masson, TAM alumna, to learn the fundamentals of taking photographs and using them for self-empowerment and for sharing perspectives.
Participants will have the opportunity to tell their stories using the power of imagery and the freedom of artistic expression.
Jessica Masson has completed a number of personal and academic photography projects, including the research and development of a participatory photography project working with the local LGBTQ+ community. Telling stories through her photography, she has found catharsis, empowerment and a sense of identity, and she wants to share her process so others can do the same.
Please bring a camera or cell phone to take photos.
