Event Details
Doctoral composers present an evening of world premieres using 8-channel sound, acoustic instruments, lights and video.
Clay Allen — Dharmatta
The Buddhist tradition describes a very specific journey we all experience in the moment just after death. Dharmata explores these ideas and creates a sound world analogous to the various points along this journey.
Zack Patten — Sunna
Exploring touch, sound and sight, Sunna traverses the path between metal sculpture, saxophone battery, and aerial videography, merging spectralism with improvisation.
Sean Winters — Last Chance
This performance explores sending Midi Show Controls directly to the lighting console—a first for the Black Box Theater.
