Come experience what a handful of ATLAS students and one of the world’s foremost kinetic sculptors and sound artists come up with after tinkering in the Black Box Experimental Studio for four days.

Trimpin is a Seattle-based kinetic sculptor, sound artist, and musician whose work integrates sculpture and sound across a variety of media including fixed installation, live music, theater, and dance performance. He is the recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship (aka “Genius Grant”) and a Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts, US & Canada.
