Musical Robotic Instruments
Jiffer Harriman, ATLAS PhD Student
Thurs., Feb 11th from 5:30-7:00pm in BTU Lab (ENVD 234)

Want to explore new creative approaches to making music? Musical robotic instruments allow you to trigger acoustic sounds with digital control. In this workshop we will use a new platform that allow control of motors using standard MIDI messages. All students are welcome but experience with music production software or audio programming is helpful. For an example of what is possible with this approach check out this video from the SolidNoise production in the ATLAS Black Box.
