Traverse -Synchresis-

Synchresis is the synthesis of something one sees and something one hears. It is the mental fusion of visual and auditory perception.

 

In the second concert of the Traverse series, doctoral composers Clay Allen, Zack Patten and Sean Winters explore the relationship between the visual and aural, and how each can affect our perception of the other. Join these composers as they premiere their work using 8-channel spatialized sound, projection and live manipulation of video and audio.
