Man lit with red and blue lightLearn lighting techniques, colored gels, posed and candid styles to creatively capture portraits! In this highly interactive and hands-on portraiture and lighting workshop clinic, you will learn (or master) technical skills behind the camera, as well as how to set up and work with natural, studio and experimental light sources. Time permitting, we’ll critique images and work with post-production techniques.

TAM Instructor Chris Carruth is a graduate of ATLAS’ ICTD master’s program, which leverages technology for human need.  A longtime photographer, Chris loves developing his creative process and sharing his experiences with students.

Prior experience with portraiture or lighting is not necessary, but attendees would ideally bring their cameras.
